Vimove Foundation is section-8 Non Profit , through its eco-initiative ALTERNATIVE'24, passionately commemorates World Environment Day 2024 with the theme 'Youth for Green and Vibrant Bengaluru'. This initiative seeks to harness the voices and actionable stories of College/University students from Bengaluru through an engaging video competition. Our aim is to inspire Bangaloreans and citizens nationwide to embrace ecological, behavioral, and cultural shifts towards sustainable urban planning. We advocate for collective social responsibilities and civic sense, recognizing them as crucial elements for a sustainable future. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate responsible citizenship by actively engaging youth, from individuals to policymakers, in raising awareness on environmental conservation actions. By focusing on creating sustainable cities and mitigating climate change, we believe in a bottom-up approach that empowers individuals to drive positive change at all levels of society.
Objective of Alternative-24
ALTERNATIVE'24, a Vimove Foundation eco-initiative, champions Environment Day 2024 with the theme 'Youth for Green and Vibrant Bengaluru.' Its mission: instill responsible citizenship among Bangalore's college youth by raising awareness on environmental conservation for sustainable cities and climate change mitigation. reel making competition, it seeks impactful contributions in categories like water conservation, waste management, green energy, and urban mobility transformation.

Whats Alternative-24 : Youth for Green and Vibrant Bengaluru the Challenge About?
The competition, named ALTERNATIVE'24, by the Vimové Foundation, invites college and university students in Bangalore to submit short videos focusing on environmental conservation. Participants can choose from categories like green spaces, water conservation, waste management, green energy, and transportation transformation. Videos should provide suggestions or demonstrate actions within campuses or neighborhoods and be submitted before May 13th. Selected videos will be featured on social media, with winners announced on World Environment Day, June 5th, receiving cash prizes.

All the Students of College and Universities of only Bangalore above 10th Std
Review and Selection
Reels will be reviewed by a panel of judges for creativity, relevance, and effectiveness in promoting environmental awareness and actionable habits.
Rewards and Recognition
Top three reels in each of the five categories, chosen for reach, views, and innovation, will win cash prizes. Winners announced on World Environment Day, June 5, 2024.
Feature and Promotion
Selected reels, with creator credits, will be showcased on Vimové Foundation's social media upon approval. Winning reels may also be shared on governance platforms, pending approval.
Rules and Regulations

Eligibility - All the Students of college and university of only bangalore (PUC/ 11th & 12th onwards)

Language of the video - The language of the video must be strictly ENGLISH,KANNADA OR BOTH

Video Length - Minimum 90 seconds to a maximum of 3 minutes

Video/Reel's Type - Your Words of Wisdom for Bengaluru City under any of the above 5 subjects

Participation Criteria: Min 2 – Max 6 members

Represent clearly name of your Educational Institution or Neighbourhood Community

You need to submit your innovative reels to the coordinators of Vimové Foundation via designated channels before May 13th (Monday) to alternative@vimove.org or to The given Nominations FORM Link
